Robin's Nest Rescued Cat Adoptions

If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain;If I can ease one life the aching, or cool one pain,

Or help one fainting robin, unto his nest again, I shall not live in vain. --Emily Dickinson

A Home for Spanky & Rosie

SpankyRosie

Rosie and Spanky are two cats that were adopted out of Robin's Nest a couple of years ago.  They are two years old.  Their mom, Anne, and her family are forced to move in with relatives where there is a family member with allergies to cats.  The family is heartbroken but they must give up their two beloved pets.  They would love it if the cats could find a home before having to come back to The Nest and be in a cage at PetSmart.  If you might be interested in giving either one or both a home, please contact Anne at 518-366-8340.

Here are their bios:

Spanky

Spanky is a very playful and adventurous cat. He loves to play hide and seek, and belly rubs.  He is all gray with one white spot on his lower belly. Spanky is a great sleeping partner and alarm clock.  He loves to play with his toys and his sister Rosie. Spanky is very loving and has only been indoors with his sister.  They both were adopted together at Robin's Nest and would be best if they could find a new home so they can stay together. They both have been fixed.

Rosie

Rosie is shy and a little timid, but very loving and playful. She is very talkative and will let you know when it's time for you to sit down so she can get on your lap, knead into a blanket, suck her toe and fall asleep. She loves to play with her toys and her brother Spanky. Rosie will chew on any plastic bags she finds, bringing groceries home was always a challenge. She has been an indoor cat and only with her brother and two older children.  They both came from Robin's Nest and are fixed. They would do best if they could be adopted together.
